Operation and Application of Truck-Mounted Attenuators (TMAs)
This training course is an introductory seminar on the operation and
application of TMAs in work zones. It is a four-hour course that applies
workable concepts, applications and recommended practices in the
deployment, operation and removal of TMAs. Previous experience in TMA
driving is not required for this course. However, if the student wishes to
become a TMA certified operator, he must operate a TMA under the
supervision of another certified operator for at least six hours.
Washington State Specific Flagger Instructor Training (WA FIT)
After recent approval to train flagger instructors in the state of Washington,
ATSSA revised the national course to fit the state’s strict guidelines.
The WA FIT course contains the complete, six-hour, state-specific flagger
course and additional information about temporary traffic control.
Spanish Online Flagger Certification Training Course
ATSSA’s national online flagger course has been translated to Spanish.
This convenient, interactive and informative training is available 24 hours
a day, and includes a downloadable flagger handbook and ATSSA’s
exclusive flagger workbook.
