Philadelphia Restaurant & Hotel Alliance
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant
announced in February
that it will join the East Market project located in Center City
Philadelphia. The craft brewer’s 8,450 square feet space is just
steps from the Pennsylvania Convention Center and Reading
Terminal Market and making it one of only a handful of full-scale
breweries within the city limits of Philadelphia. “We look forward
to opening our doors and raising a pint with our new neighbors
and friends in spring 2018,” said Kevin Finn, Iron Hill Brewery
Restaurant president and founder.
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant
held a special fundraising
event on February 23, at four locations to support a memorial
fund in honor of one of their own who passed away recently. It
also released LeBruce Saison in honor of former server Terrell
L. Bruce, who worked at the Chestnut Hill, Ardmore, North Wales,
Pa. locations, as well as the Maple Shade, N.J. location. The recipe
was created by Terrell and the Iron Hill brew team a few years ago.
Terrell was a victim of gun violence in December 2016. Proceeds
from the fundraiser will benefit the Terrell L. Brew Memorial
Foundation.
