Brandywine Chapter
On February 15,
Victory Brewing Company
reached its coming
of age birthday! A celebratory beer—21st Birthday IPA—was
created just for the occasion.
Along with Victory as a company turning 21,
its very own HopDevil hits its 21st birthday, too.
HopDevil is a long-standing Victory flagship
brand. The iconic HopDevil graphic had its
branding refreshed and a HopDevil IPA brand
redesign was introduced in late February.
Bucks-Mont Chapter
Although a Bucks County landmark since 1751,
The Plumsteadville Inn
just celebrated its 5-year anniversary
under new ownership. The hard work and dedication from the
team at the Plum is truly key to its success. They would also like to
thank all their customers from all over.
Central Chapter
PA Flavor
which showcases Pennsylvania breweries, restaurants
and food producers in a unique sampling event will be held
April 22, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex. The event is
jointly presented by the PRLA Central Chapter, the Brewers of
PA, the American Culinary Federation and the PA Department of
Agriculture’s PA Preferred Program. For more information about
the event, visit
www.paflavor.com.The chapter’s March meeting was held at
Troëgs Brewing
Company.
Chapter members and guests toured the brewery’s
facility including its new Splinter Cellar and enjoyed tasting beers.
Melissa Bova, PRLA vice president of government affairs, provided
an update on legislative activities. Thank you to Troëgs for hosting
this event!
Arooga’s
and the Hershey Bears teamed up in support of “Running
for Rachel,” a foundation that raises awareness and funds for
gastrointestinal cancer research. This year’s event raised $7,500,
bringing the five-year total to nearly $30,000. The Running for Rachel
5K Run/Walk takes place April 30 at City Island, Harrisburg.
