EVENTS
A s part of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Jubitz Truck Stop in Portland,
OR held their annual Driver Appreciation Day on September 14, 2016. OTA, along
with about a dozen other organizations, were invited celebrate the people that keep
our economy moving! Our team was able to connect with and give thanks to drivers from
both Oregon and states across the United States, and of course, let them know about the
trucking resources available. Attendees enjoyed a grilled lunch and plenty of free prizes.
Although all comments were positive, our favorite was, “Nowhere else have I seen a truck
stop go this far for drivers. It’s great to know our job is appreciated.” Thank you, truck
drivers, for moving America’s freight!
