“Transportation and infrastructure are issues of
vital importance to the Fourth Congressional
District of Arkansas. With our district’s varied
infrastructure, it is important to have a voice on
the committee of jurisdiction. That is why I
advocated joining the T&I Committee. We must
work to improve maintenance along the Fourth
District’s navigational channels, find a permanent
solution for funding our roads and bridges, and
protect our important pipeline and railroad
infrastructure.”
“I look forward to applying my small-business
experience and problem solving skills as a
legislator to find solutions to the problems we face
as a country. I’ll work with my colleagues on both
sides of the aisle to strengthen our economy,
improve our nation’s aging infrastructure, and
reduce the regulatory burden on small businesses
so they can expand and create jobs.”
“On the House Transportation and Infrastructure
Committee, I look forward to working on policy
that strengthens surface transportation and
provides needed upgrades to water infrastructure
and more. I am ready to get to work on solutions
for the 19th District and our country.”
“Our work on the Transportation and Infrastructure
Committee will go hand-in-hand with the incoming
Trump administration’s commitment to make
America a more competitive place to do business.
As a former mayor, I have unique insight into the
critical role targeted investments in our
infrastructure play in permanent job creation. I
want to bring these lessons I learned on the local
level to the committee to better inform our policies
and decisions on the projects we invest in.”
“The work of the Transportation and Infrastructure
Committee has great significance for Michigan.
The 10th district boasts critical infrastructure
connecting and powering us, including the Blue
Water Bridge, access to the Great Lakes, and I-69,
all of which are impacted by the work of this
committee. I look forward to being a voice for the
10th district, while working with my colleagues on
policies to ensure America’s critical
infrastructure.”
