OTA LEADERSHIP

In 2017, OTA will continue to emphasize

and explore non-dues revenue. This year

we put together the Northwest Fleet Safety

Certification Program and continue to

look for sources to support the Association

beyond dues.

As always, I will end my column with a plea

to support our Truck PAC. With a long

legislative session in 2017, it is vital for our

association to support those who advocate

on behalf of our industry. The general OTA

budget does not allow us to fully fund these

activities that are essential to OTA’s mission

and to the livelihood of carriers, drivers and

all the employees involved in Oregon’s

trucking industry. You can find more

information about supporting the Truck

PAC on the OTA website. For those in the

position to offer sustainable support,

consider becoming part of the Truck PAC

Leadership Circle. Again, you’ll find more

details online or feel free to contact us

directly for more details on how you can get

involved and make a difference.
