16 • SIDEBAR • September 2020 W ith a class full of new lawyers ready to learn, Trial Lawyers Academy 101 is kicking off October 1st! Founded by former OTLA Board member and Guardian David Suger- man in 2010, this course is aimed at lawyers who have been practicing fewer than 7 years. Now the program is run by OTLA Guardians John Devlin , Keith Dozier , Steve Piucci , Bonnie Richardson , Judy Snyder , Elizabeth Welch and Greg Zeuthen who bring a wealth of experience to the table. Can you say all-star lineup? Trial Lawyer Academy 101 is an intimate, small group, 8-week course. Along with the nuts and bolts of run- ning your practice, the class fosters camaraderie between participants and instructors, the latter including a revolving cast of experienced practitio- ners from week to week.
