Safer Roads Save Lives
ATSSA’s 47th Annual Convention and Traffic Expo broke several records, including
an all-time high final attendance figure of 3,364 attendees in 553 exhibition booths.
American Traffic Safety Services Foundation President Tom Wood (right)
discussed the new National Work Zone Memorial to one of many visitors to The
Foundation booth during exhibit hours. The new memorial, which debuted during
the Annual Convention, contains the names of men, women and children killed in
roadway work zone crashes. The new design is lightweight and sets up in minutes.

According to Smith, “SMITH exhibits at ATSSA to showcase solutions that help
make the hard work of preparing and striping roadways faster and easier for
contractors.”
