Jay Leo, CFO of The Springs Living,
recalls a recent Sunday morning
when a husband and wife came into
one of his Portland communities
seeking help and searching for
answers.
“Typically, our general management
team shows up around 8 a.m. I
remember this couple sitting in
the lobby waiting for someone
to come in and talk to them,” he
said. Disheveled and restless, the
husband did most of the talking.
“I’d seen that look enough times,
that frantic nature of not knowing
what to do. The clear symptoms of
being a caregiver that works so hard
to take care of a spouse, but not
themselves,” he said.
