IN-HOME CARE
CONFERENCE
OHCA offers this unique conference that
is focused on education for our in-home
care and home health agency members.
This conference is planned with education
focused for all types of staff including
owners, managers, administrators, nurses,
and human resources personnel. Areas of
focus are determined by OHCA member
in-home care agencies in the state of
Oregon and typically draws between
75–100 or more professionals.

ELDER ABUSE
AWARENESS AND
PREVENTION SUMMIT
Join OHCA and other long term care
partners in preparation for World Elder
Abuse Awareness Day. This day-long
event will feature strategies for advancing
the health, safety, and well-being of
Oregon's seniors.
JULY 26
NURSE LEADERSHIP
CONFERENCE
This event focuses on ways nurses can
become strong leaders. This event attracts
75 RNs, LPNs, charge nurses, and other
nurses in leadership roles throughout the
long term care sector.
MAY 11
MARKETING
SYMPOSIUM
This is an intensive training in which
professionals gather to learn the
newest and most innovative marketing
techniques. In partnership with
Metropolitan Senior Network, close
to 100 professionals participate at this
conference, most of which are working
in marketing positions in long term care
communities.
MAY 25
FACILITY SERVICES AND
MAINTENANCE EVENT
The facility management and maintenance
departments are a critical part of every
long term care community. The safety
of residents and employees depend on a
building that is properly maintained and
functioning at optimal levels. Developed
specifically for long term care maintenance
and environmental services directors,
housekeeping, and vital facility services
staff, this one-day event is designed to keep
your buildings at their best.
