colorad o nga.org LooseLeaf  October/November 2018 4 CNGA— HERE FOR THE MEMBERS By Allison Gault, MBA, CAE CNGA Executive Director Member Benefits Add up to Big Savings As we approach the end of the year and downtime for many of your businesses, I want to remind you of some of the member benefits and partnerships that CNGA offers to help you contain costs and save time. While these benefits may not be the key reason you are a mem- ber, they add additional value. Office Depot/Office Max Savings Program – CNGA members can save up to 70 percent on products at Office Max/Office Depot both in the store and online. You can save 50 percent on paper alone. We utilize the savings program at CNGA and it cuts down on our of- fice supply costs significantly. Heartland Payroll and Credit Card Processing – Heartland Payment Systems offers both payroll and credit card processing to CNGA members. Not only do they have very competitive rates for both services, CNGA receives a dividend on all credit card sales when a member uses Heartland as their processing company. We use the dividend to offer more member programs and services. There is a free app for credit card processing on the go, which can be downloaded to any mobile device and is easy to use. RSS Insurance Services – CNGA has partnered with RSS Insur- ance Services for years. This family owned and operated business prides itself on a foundation strongly built upon the traditional principles of integrity and honesty—ALWAYS delivered with a personal touch. CNGA recently moved our commercial insurance, Directors & Of- ficers Insurance, and Worker’s Compensation and Healthcare plans to RSS. We saved 47 percent on our Worker’s Compensation, and had a thorough review and update of our policy limits so they’re appropriate for the needs of the business. Grown In Colorado – If you’re growing and selling plants that start from seed in Colorado, you can use the Grown In Colorado Trademark for FREE. Research shows 92 percent of polled consumers prefer buy- ing locally grown or produced products when they are available. This is a great way to market locally grown products not only to retail centers but also to consumers. If you would like more information about any of these programs and services, visit the member center page at www.coloradonga.org or contact the CNGA Office.
