Fall 2017 • PENNSYLVANIA RESTAURANT & LODGING matters •  27 Wine Spectator recognizes PRLA Restaurants for exemplary wine lists. PRLA restaurant members strongly represented the Commonwealth when Wine Spectator announced its Restaurant Awards in July. There were 78 Pennsylvania restaurants recognized. Of those, 47 were PRLA members. Congratulations to the PRLA member restaurants who received the Award of Excellence and Best of Award of Excellence. Awards are given to restaurants whose wine list offers a well-chosen, interesting selections, matches the restaurant’s menu in both style and price and appeals to a variety of wine lovers. Best of Award of Excellence is given to restaurants who offer 350 or more selections and are a destination for serious wine enthusiasts.
