Tell us a little about Nick’s Cove.
Nick’s Cove Restaurant, Oyster Bar and
Cottages is a nostalgic and welcoming gath-
ering place that showcases the bounty of local
farm- and sea-to-table, sustainable California
cuisine with waterfront dining and accom-
modations on the pristine Tomales Bay. A
historical point of pride for locals that has
become an internationally-renowned travel
destination, Nick’s Cove also features 12 rustic
yet refined cottages with five at the water-
front and seven across Hwy. 1 with views of
Tomales Bay. Located just a half-hour west of
Petaluma and 50 miles north of San Francisco,
Nick’s Cove is a delicious, relaxing and beau-
tiful destination year-round.
How does Nick’s Cove cater to the
local market?
We recognize that we get really busy on the
weekends, so we want to do our part in the
community and make sure all of our neigh-
bors feel welcome. Every Tuesday is Locals’
Night where we invite local bands to play
and offer a reasonably priced prix fixe menu
for locals. We also buy a lot of local cheeses,
produce, and proteins caught and grown and
harvested in our area. We also donate to local
schools and all other non-profit organizations
in the West Marin area and every year we host
a free Santa visit for the local community. We
also donate to and participate in most local
food events.
