American Traffic Safety Services Association 32 The Foundation The American Traffic Safety Services Foundation (The Foundation) exists to promote roadway safety through charitable giving and public awareness programs. The Foundation’s Mission Become a 2019 sponsor of The Foundation The Foundation is looking for 2019 sponsorships to further their mission of supporting the family and loved ones of fallen and injured roadway workers. The Foundation works with their sponsors on initiatives such as the maintenance of the physical memorial, honoring the lives of those lost in work zone crashes, and educating the public on the Toward Zero Deaths initiatives. The Foundation’s 2018 platinum spon- sors are 3M and ATSSA, and the gold sponsor is Work Zone Traffic Control, Inc. For 3M, being a sponsor of The Foundation is a way they feel they can give back and promote awareness of roadway safety. “3M is a proud supporter of The Foun- dation, as it is a means for 3M to help The Foundation raise money and aware- ness for its programs. Our 3M Transpor- tation Safety Division mission is to help bring workers home safely each day, so our efforts through The Foundation aid in raising awareness in the industry about the importance of road safety,” said Eric Hedman, U.S. marketing oper- ations manager for the 3M Transporta- tion Safety Division. Platinum and gold sponsorships are available. Platinum sponsorships are a $2,500 per year commitment for three years or $6,000 if paid in full. Gold sponsorships are a $1,000 per year commitment. For your support of The Foundation as a gold sponsor, you’ll receive recognition with a sponsor sign with your company logo at events where the National Work Zone Memorial is displayed, logo place- ment on The Foundation website, and recognition at The Foundation booth at ATSSA’s Annual Traffic Convention&Expo and during the ATSSA Midyear Meeting general session.
