Again, contact us if you have an interest in this program. Additionally, we are now offering Ongoing Carrier Education on a monthly basis. Each month one topic is presented in an all-day class covering one of the four topics of Weight-Mile, Size & Weight, Registration & IFTA, and DOT Safety Compliance on a rotating basis at the OTA office. These in-depth training sessions are a great refresher class for some and a meaningful introductory class for newer employees. All four topics can be purchased in a package, or you can select the topic you need additional information on. Contact OTA or visit our website for more information. And don’t forget our events in March and April! This year we are moving the Maintenance & Education Fair to the Holiday Inn in Wilsonville and expanding the programming to address both the technician and the manager. This event will take place March 29, with the SuperTech competition occurring the following day at the World of Speed just down the street. This venue is ideally suited for our technician’s competition and offers the museum at no charge to family and friends! Our Spring Safety Conference will meet again at the Salem Convention Center, April 17–19. This year’s program will be focused on “Taking Safety to the Next Level.” This is the perfect opportunity for safety professionals to explore how they can enhance their skills and also gives us the chance to celebrate their successes. Advocacy, Education and Networking… three of the five core functions we offer to you as an OTA member. These efforts, and these programs, are an investment that your association has made to enhance your business. As Francis Ford Coppola once said, “Anything you build on a large scale or with intense passion invites chaos.” Be part of the chaos…and the success!
