Plants had a compact, mounded growth habit with attractive green foliage and lots of flowers. Cold hardiness was very impressive as the survival rate was very good for a Gaillardia. They grow to about 44 inches in height and 25 inches in width. Hibiscus  ‘Summerific Perfect Storm’ – Summerific Perfect Storm Rose Mallow from Walters Gardens The foliage as it emerges in spring is more purplish, which is impressive, and is followed by large white flowers with rich raspberry centers later in the season. The survival rate was great (100 percent) after three years, and it grows to about 51 inches in height and 56 inches in width. Geum x  ‘TNGEURO’ PP28238 – Rustico™ Orange Geum from Terra Nova ® Nurseries Plants had a very uniform rounded growth habit with good green foliage. Plants did not lodge from overhead watering, and had a great winter survival rate (100 percent). Flowers were yellow with shorter bloom time when frost was early in the fall. Plants grew to about 26 inches in height and 39 inches in width. Phlox paniculata  Flame ® – Flame ® New Improved Purple Phlox from Dummen Orange Flowers were abundant, forming a solid canopy at peak bloom, which was over a long period of time. A small splash of white at the base of each petal added a bit of “sparkle” to each flower as it matured. Blooms still had an attractive flower even as they faded late in the season. Plants had superior resistance to powdery mildew. It grows to about 20 inches in height and width. Echinacea  ‘TNECHKR’ – Kismet™ Raspberry Coneflower from Terra Nova ® Nurseries Plants had a very uniform growth habit and excellent raspberry flowers with good branching. Dark green foliage kept the plants attractive even at times when no flowers were present. Flowers were prolific and formed in a solid canopy of blooms over the plants and even had an attractive rustic look as they faded from peak bloom. They grow to about 26 inches in height and width.
