Southeast Michigan Contractors  Issue 3 2019 5 EVENTS We Threw the Event, the Guests Threw the Axes! This spring, Associated Builders and Contractors Southeastern Michigan (ABC SEMI) launched its first ever Women in Construction Committee. This Committee aims to unite female construction workers all over Michigan through a common cause. Nearly 30 women in construction related careers rallied together for our kick-off event: axe throwing. These Committee members will get together monthly to empower women through networking events, professional development, and relationship building.
