If a lead or estimate ends up not moving forward, it is moved to the “No- Go” stack at the far right, which makes it easy to keep track of what projects did not proceed and why, because I keep notes on that as well. As work progresses, I add notes on the card about when I emailed the estimate, when I emailed the contract, when I got the signed contract, etc. I also forward any email exchanges with the client or other proj- ect member to the card. With this basic organization, I have a clear picture of project status, client communication, and up- coming tasks in a single place accessible on the computer or my phone.
