12 www.pagd.org  pagd news PEAK is Back on Track! It had been 559 days between meetings until PEAK got back into the habit of getting together. This spring, both PEAK tracks held their first live meetings since late 2019, and based on the response from the dental community, members were glad to be back in the classroom and sharpening their skills and knowledge. 2021 Annual Meeting and PEAK Track II Spring Meeting Harrisburg, PA PEAK Track II Directors Drs. John Gustafson and Eric Shelly kick off the festivities. Thursday’s presentation day was excellent, with presenters like Drs. Ann Miller and Dejan Golalic showing their learning since the last meeting. Attendees de-stressed at Thursday’s “Host Home” with a round of axe throwing at Stumpy’s Hatchet House in Hershey. Friday’s session featured Dr. Karl Woodmansey, whose endo presentation challenged the most adept GPs. Friday evening was a mixture of pomp, tears, and laughter. Dr. Leigh Jacopetti-Kondraski was presented the President’s Award by VP Dr. Kit Danger for her year of service as President. The incoming directors of the PAGD Board were sworn in. Attendees paid tribute to departed Drs. Rick Knowlton and Rich DeForno, including both the teams at Knowlton Dental and Thorndale Dental. And the evening ended with attendees showing off their trivia skills by taking a swing at a game show. On Saturday, Dr. Howard Glazer taught everyone about the up-and-coming materials that are on the market, and what he recommends they give a try in their offices. That evening, the streets of Harrisburg opened up for outdoor dining, enjoyed here by Drs. Nicole Carnicella, Scott Learn, Cuong Tran, and Dale Spadafora.
