Oregon Truck Dispatch are safety oriented—you create opportunity to sharpen the skills that are necessary for team members to perform their daily jobs at a high level. This is a win-win for everybody. Many trucking companies hold annual competitions for their drivers allowing them to show their driving and pre-trip inspection abilities. Another way for carriers to honor their drivers and technicians is to give them broader opportunity to participate in various industry competitions. For example, the Oregon Trucking Association has historically facilitated annual Oregon state Truck Driving Championships for drivers and Super Tech competitions for technicians. Winners in these local state events could advance to compete at the National level later in the year. Again, these are great opportunities for drivers and technicians to hone their professional skills and achieve recognition in the process. From the carrier perspective, it is also an honor to have employees representing their company in these events. Consistent winners speak well of a company’s professional and safety culture.
