The next speaker, Steve Tetrault, Regional Fleet Account Manager— Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, put attendees behind the wheel for a discussion on Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS). New technology is enhancing ways to keep drivers and others on the road even safer. While truck drivers are highly trained and some of the safest on the road, companies are now considering technology to improve both performance and safety. The 2021 Safety Conference wrapped up with a discussion around Litigation in 2021, presented by Matthew G. Ukishima, Attorney/Co-founder—Ukishima Reeves PC. Matt shared his deep knowledge and experience helping clients in highly- regulated industries, including for-hire transportation and logistics.
