Much of the policy conversation right now is around workforce. We saw that with the passage of legislation that allows community colleges to offer a four-year bachelor’s degree in nursing. Our mission is to make access to education less complicated and empower anyone who wants to further their education to do so. The legislature will continue to find ways to remove barriers to continuing education, and I believe that building our long term care workforce will be to the benefit of our aging population as a whole.
