Current issues are addressed by guest speakers, and participants determine the roundtable agenda based on current topics for discussion. Oregon BankPAC Trustees Meeting Frequency: 3x+/year The Oregon BankPAC Trustees are appointed to govern the fundraising, recordkeeping, spending and reporting associated with the OBA’s state and federal political action committees. Oregon BankPAC is a vehicle for Oregon bankers to collaborate in financially supporting political candidates who understand the value of the banking industry. Technology Roundtable Meeting Frequency: 4x/year Designed for bank information systems, security and technology professionals. Meetings typically include a presentation by an industry expert followed by the opportunity for roundtable discussion on current hot topics and emerging technology. Trust & Wealth Management Roundtable Meeting Frequency: 2–3x/year Designed for trust and wealth management professionals at OBA member banks and trust companies, this peer group primarily serves as a policy advisory group for the OBA. The roundtable also works collaboratively with the Oregon State Bar Association on proposals impacting estate planning, elder law and bank and trust company interests. Meetings provide a forum to hear from industry experts and discuss current issues.
