Registrants may make certain changes to their information and add ticketed events by emailing spate@nmdental.org as long as the changes are made according to deadline dates printed in this Registration Kit. Guest Registration Guest registration designations are for family members (non-dental)—spouses and children. They will not earn CE credits and will not receive CEU forms. Refund Policy To obtain a refund, submit a written request accompanied by all badges and tickets to NMDA, on or before May 24, 2024. Use the Ticketed Events table (on page 16) and enter the code on your registration form. All other courses do not require a ticket. Seating is on a first come, first served basis for all courses, so remember to arrive early. Lost Ticket/Lost Badge Lost tickets are replaced at the original cost. Lost badges are replaced at no additional cost. Badges All those attending the Annual Session must register and wear their badge throughout the Fiesta 2024 event space at all times. Entrance to the NMDA Fiesta 2024 event space is firmly restricted to registered attendees wearing a current badge. Regulations Audio, video taping, the use of photography, and the placing of clothing on empty seats are prohibited in all Scientific Sessions. Smoking (regular cigarettes or e-cigarettes) is prohibited throughout the Crowne Plaza Albuquerque. Video and Photography Disclaimer Please be advised that the New Mexico Dental Association (NMDA) will video tape and photograph attendees during the entire event. By attending the NMDA Fiesta, you consent to the NMDA’s use and/or reproduction of video/ photography for advertising, commercial, publicity, or any other business purposes of the NMDA. The NMDA will not be liable for any claims against you arising out of said use. You understand and agree that you will not be entitled to any financial or other compensation for said use by the NMDA. CE Class Credits NMDA is an ADA CERP recognized provider. CE courses, provided by NMDA, are recognized by the New Mexico Board of Dental Health, other state licensing bodies, and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). In New Mexico, CE courses must be “technical or scientific, as relates to clinical care” to qualify for relicensure. Courses are designated “technical and/or scientific” or “nontechnical.” CE requirements differ from state to state, so please check with your state for specific requirements. AGD course codes and CE credit hours, are shown on each course synopsis. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to the Commission for Continuing Education Provider Recognition at ADA.org/CERP.
