Foundation GDA Foundation Impact 11,000+ Georgians reached through: Children’s Dental Health Month Smile Kits Give Kids a Smile Donated Dental Care Special Olympics, Special Smiles Screenings The GDA Foundation hosted its Hats & Horses Derby Gala at Moonlight Stables in Dallas, GA. The event raised over $18,000 in support of GDA Foundation programs that provide oral health education and donated dental treatment to disadvantaged individuals in Georgia. The Southwest District hosted a Casino Night fundraiser benefiting the GDA Foundation in January. Following the event, the district presented the GDA Foundation with a generous gift of $5,000. Give Kids a Smile events are held annually during Children’s Dental Health Month. GDA Foundation volunteers from the Dental College of Georgia participated in the Winter 2024 Special Olympics, Special Smiles. GDA Foundation’s newest program, Share a Smile, launched this summer.
