Here are a few examples of why dentists are enrolling in the GDA Group Health Plan: • No loss of plan. One member and his wife shared that they left GDA’s group coverage for an individual plan. A year later, their individual plan was cancelled forcing them to shop around again. They found a new provider and, again—one year later, their plan was cancelled. By joining a group health plan, there is no loss of plan or mid-year cancellation. • Multiple plan designs to meet your needs. Several GDA Group Health Plan options are available to meet your family’s needs including a high deductible health plan that qualifies for a health savings account. • No health history coverage limitations. One GDA member tried to obtain health insurance on her own. She had to disclose that she had a procedure done while applying for the policy. Because the insurance company considered her a high-risk, she was denied coverage. Fortunately, GDA Group Health Plans have no health history coverage limitations. • Personal, attentive service. NOTICE: Starting January 1, 2022, GDIS will no longer accept payment in the form of checks. There will be no additional charges using a debit or credit card to make payments.
