Stop here and let us answer your questions and calm your fears. 2022 GDA Group Health Plans Open Enrollment Begins This Month As a GDA member, you own your insurance company, Georgia Dental Insurance Services. So, use it this fall during open enrollment to sign up for health insurance. Here are a few facts you might not know: • GDA Group Health Plan rates are guaranteed for one year, with no surprise cancellations. • The dentist does not have to enroll nor do all of the employees. The dentists alone can enroll. The dentists can also offer it to his or her employees without enrolling in the program or having a minimum number of employees participate. • The dentist does not have to subsidize the employee’s premiums if he/she has fewer than 50 employees. Employees can be billed individually and pay GDA Health and Welfare plan directly with no administrative burden on the dentist. • If you are 65 and older, talk to us about enrolling in our Medicare Supplement program.
