She cites the great diversity—not only in the types of roles within the industry from guest services to event planning to management, but also the “endless opportunities to engage people from different backgrounds and cultures that come into your property.” For those who are considering a hospitality career, she has some advice: “I would tell them to embrace learning and be open to every aspect of the industry.
