The Hall Tree Farm is the oldest in Lewis County and was established by the late Charles Hall, a former WVDOF District Forester out of French Creek and Assistant State Forester for Fire. Today the property is managed by his children and his son, Dana (shown in photo) was on site to help with the sign project. Also helping with the project were foresters Terry Jones and Jim Hays (behind camera). Danny James also took the opportunity to “reinspect” the property for Tree Farm recognition status. The refreshed sign is an expression to all passing of the historic and continued sustainable forestry on this remarkable property.
