Scenes from Tree Farm Woodland Education Seminar #4 Online: May 5, 2020 IN APRIL AND MAY, THE WV TREE FARM PROGRAM sponsored a series of four, online seminars featuring 20 speakers. Speakers included tree farmers, conservation professionals, and research scientists. In previous years, the seminar series was held in four regions of West Virginia. This year the meetings moved online to bring tree farmers, forestry professionals, and landowners together in educational forums. Over 160 participated in at least one of the online meetings with over 80 at each meeting. Topics were diverse covering traditional timber management and cost-share practices to new carbon credit programs and the spotted lantern fly. Given the positive feedback, it is likely that these seminars will continue. WV Tree Farm Woodland Education Seminars a Success!
