28  • PENNSYLVANIA RESTAURANT & LODGING matters • Fall 2018 MEMBER MILESTONES Philadelphia Chapter In May, Chickie’s & Pete’s raised $15,920 for The Ronald McDonald House at Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House Plane Pull, presented by Allstate. Fundraising took place at all restaurant locations prior to the event at which teams of 20 competed to see who could pull a plane in the shortest amount of time. On National French Fry Day (July 13), Chickie’s & Pete’s raised $31,000 for the Fraternal Order of Police Survivors Fund from the proceeds of sales of Crabfries TM and pitchers of beer.
