Secretary We have not taken this event lightly, and we strive to continue to bring you member benefits through a time that is difficult to feel the connection of community. I t doesn’t seem possible, but we are in the final stretch of 2020. It came in with a successful and fun conference in Portland, quickly showed us how small the world really is with COVID-19, and then pretty much full-on embod- ied a two-headed bull in a china shop. If this were a road trip, the kids would have begun asking, “Are we there yet?” about five bends in the road back. But here we are, in the final bend and we are planning the 2021 event. In this issue, I would like to wish you all a Happy Holiday season. If there is any- thing that we have learned this year, I would hope that it is to be grateful for the simpler things in life—our health, fami- ly, friends, ability to continue working, and knowing that despite the many dis- appointments that have happened this year, we are a part of something larger than ourselves.
