The minimum requirements that must be met to qualify for the Surveyor of the Year Award are: 1. Be a Corporate Member of PLSO for five or more years. 2. Have demonstrated a history of high competence, integrity, and professionalism. 3. Assisted qualified and interested people in advancement within the profession. 4. Career-long service to the profession. This year’s Surveyor of the Year doesn’t just lend a hand, he throws his whole body into making things happen for PLSO. I t’s no secret that success for any non-profit trade organization depends upon the strength and dedication of its volunteers. If you want a strong thriving professional organization, then you must lend a hand in making what you want to see happen. A nomination must come to the Board of Directors endorsed by five PLSO members in good standing before it will be considered for a vote by the board.
