Dear Nik(on), I think about the years before you were in my life. I remember drifting aimlessly trying to get approval for my expertise and only to be rejected. Along came you, and, from that day forth, my life changed forever. I never considered bringing someone like you, with such high quality and exquisite viewpoint, into my life until I met Kurt Laemmer at a PEAK meeting. He asked me if I had someone like you to support me and to help guide me in my professional career. I had to admit, that I did not. I was shy and didn’t know how to approach anyone of your caliber. Kurt strongly suggested that I find you and show you off to everyone. He guaranteed me that you would bring the focus and the image that I needed to propel my dental career. I feel that Kurt was our matchmaker. Your beautiful D7100 body arrived and I was beside myself. I also couldn’t believe how much your ring flash brightened up my every day. I introduced you to every patient who came into my office. You have been so gracious in helping me to automatically focus on what each patient needs to promote their oral health care. You can capture the moments just right that my patients can now see what I see in their mouths. Your every day presence has boosted my acceptance and I know that I could not have done it without you. I do have to admit that there are times you are a little annoying and maybe difficult to use. Sometimes I am a bit jealous because others in my office hold you and bring out the best in you better than I can. I have cheated on you with Iris, from DigiDoc. She is quick and easy with the work, but she just doesn’t have the quality that you have. I depend on you the most, my love. You will always be my first choice.
