OTLA Sidebar September 2020

18 • SIDEBAR • September 2020 about your bank accounts or services to run your business. With our expe- rienced teams, we are here to guide you with personalized relationship management, a set of local faces to call for assistance and online banking tools to assist with automation for those moving to a paperless experience. We can assist with your Client Trust Ac- counts, Business Accounts and ways to manage your cash flow, protect your accounts and ease of access through online banking. Folks on the OTLA listservs often post questions about best banking practices or setting up specialty accounts for their clients. What are your top tips for OTLA members to pass on? What do you wish they knew? We understand it can be challenging to open accounts for your business and the clients you represent given overall banking requirements and regulations. With the personalized service we offer and taking time to understand your business and your clients’ needs, we are able to prepare you and hopefully make opening accounts painless and easy. My work life has changed in the past year because… I think 2020 has been a challenge for all. Many of us are used to person- ally connecting and meeting with our clients face-to-face but have had to adjust to not only working from home or social distancing in the office, but also moving our client interactions to phone or over the computer. I’m a very hands-on person and enjoy in-person interactions so it has been challenging to adjust. I will say personally this has allowed me to step back and realize what is important: how to balance work and life and focus on ways to help others! The best thing about my job is: The people I meet, clients I work with and our teams! Everyone is unique in their own way and no person or busi- ness is the same. I’ve always had the mindset each business and firm has its own story. It is my job to articulate how Bank of the Pacific can assist with OTLA members’ banking and lending needs and help determine what is the right fit for each of you. I hope to meet our objectives and needs together and work in partnership along the way. Is there anything else you’d like OTLA’s members to know? Bank of the Pacific has genuine care and concern for their employees as we believe our people are worth much more than the hours they work. By the same respect, our clients are also worth much more than the size of their accounts. Bank of the Pacific’s financial expertise and concern for our communities make a real impact in the lives of the families and businesses they serve.
