It was a decision the association made in the early phase of the pandemic to make sure our members could continue to stay compliant with established regulations and stay current with changes during our world’s current state of affairs. Jumping from webinar to webinar isn’t easy though—for the students or the trainer. Here are some guidelines for maximizing your digital experience with us, but feel free to use these techniques for other webinars, too! ` Find a quiet distraction-free environment in which to join the training. ` Sign in on a device that offers both microphone and video capability on your end of the connection. ` Select the “Join with Video” option when connecting into the webinar. ` Participate regularly throughout the session by answering poll questions, asking follow-up questions, or even sharing your own thoughts and experiences with the subject matter. We did plan ahead, though, and made sure we established a backup date with our new venue for this year—the Riverhouse on the Deschutes in beautiful Bend, OR!
