25 www.ortrucking.org Issue 1 | 2018 Voter Voice, New Advocacy Tool OTA, along with some other state associations, has switched to a new advocacy communication platform, VoterVoice. Because the system is easier for staff to manage, it will help OTA quickly communicate “calls to action” to our members, thus getting more people involved in the issues that matter most to the trucking community. We may ask you to write to your local legislator, attend a meeting or hearing, familiarize yourself with proposed legislation, and more. Let’s get our voice heard! Emails will come from an “ @ortrucking.org ” address, but be sure to periodically check your spam folder for “VoterVoice” (a FiscalNote company) communications. There’s an App for that—MemberPlus! OTA’s database, GrowthZone, has an app for members. This is a great way for OTA members to connect with each other while on the go! Just visit your App Store (Android or Apple) and download the “MemberPlus” (green) app. You’ll use the same login you use for the regular Member Login page. With the app, you can quickly view the online member directory,* events calendar, member-to- member deals, and news sections! For event registrations and the resources section, the app will redirect you to your phone’s internet browser for viewing. Issues with your login?
