7 www.ortrucking.org Issue 2 | 2018 Fundraiser for Lynn Peterson On behalf of OTA, President Jana Jarvis hosted a fundraising event for Lynn Peterson, candidate for Greater Portland Metro Council President. Lynn has extensive experience as a transportation engineer and has held leadership roles in public service and administrations of two governors. Many of our members came out to support Lynn and connect with her about our needs as a trucking industry. TRUCK PAC LEADERSHIP CIRCLE The 2019 legislative session is fast approaching, and it may just be the toughest yet! We need your help with gaining access to candidates and elected officials so we can make sure the voice of trucking is heard. Some individuals have made a commitment to helping us stand together and make a difference. Truck PAC Leadership Circle members contribute at least $1,000 per year to our fund, and we want to recognize them for their support in helping us make Oregon a better place to do business.
