Oregon Trucking Associations, Inc. 24 Oregon Truck Dispatch OTA News NEWS Adam Williamson Director of Training & Development Adam was recently brought on board to help OTA’s education efforts including “OTA University” programs like the NW Fleet Safety Certification and NW Fleet Maintenance Certification and other training classes and auditing services. He received a B.A. Degree in Biblical Studies and Communication from Florida College in 2005 and brings many years of experience in training and public speaking both in ministry and medical billing fields. Adam has already begun teaching key OTA classes and is proving to be an asset to our trucking community training needs (and has quite the sense of humor). Waylon Buchan Director of Government Affairs Waylon will be taking over the government affairs portion of OTA’s mission. He graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelors in Political Science and later received a law degree from Willamette University. His legal, legislative advocacy, and political experience (and personability) will be valuable to helping OTA and the trucking industry withstand any of the legislative obstacles in years to come. Waylon will need help from our members this upcoming session through our “Calls to Action” at the Capitol and across Oregon. Be prepared to get involved!
