Oregon Truck Dispatch EVENTS 2017 Annual Leadership Convention Salishan Spa & Golf Resort | Gleneden Beach, OR | September 13–15, 2017 WITH THE ONGOING CHANGES in technology, government affairs, and regulation, OTA wanted to provide a total approach to business success. This year’s 66th Leadership Convention, titled “Power in Planning” focused on just that. The beautiful Salishan Spa & Golf Resort on the Oregon coast was an exceptional venue to bring our trucking industry members together. Before the official event agenda began, we held four OTA committee meetings followed by an optional round of golf. After the welcome reception, top-level Truck PAC sponsors headed to the exclusive Truck PAC Gala, new this year. OTA also offered new technology—an event app, Whova, where people could view the agenda, connect with other attendees, view exhibitors, rate presentations, and more. Over the next day and a half, members heard from speakers on E-Commerce, Cybersecurity, Connected Vehicles, Pictured —Past Chair Bart Sherman and New Chair Diane DeAutremont THANK YOU BART & KELLI SHERMAN FOR HOSTING THE LOVELY CHAIRMAN’S RECEPTION AFTER THE AWARDS BANQUET!
