nmdental.org 19 “A smile cures the wounding of a frown.” If Shakespeare said it, it must be true. So, in the weightiness of our world, we have aspirations and goals that do make us smile. Together, during my tenure with the foundation, I hope we see many New Mexi- cans smile with health and confidence. I aim to work with you, and with many other partners, to build a state full of healthy smiles. I look forward to a lot of hard work, and a lot of laughter with you all in the coming years.
