nmdental.org 17 Arthur B. Montoya Jr., DDS NMDAF Board President Art is a pillar of service in his community of Los Alamos and across the state of New Mexico. We are pleased to have him serve as the new Presi- dent of the Board of Directors. Art has practiced general dentistry in Los Alamos since 1990. He received his degrees from the University of New Mexico and the University of Missouri at Kansas City, School of Dentistry. Art has previously served on the Board of Directors at Los Alamos Na- tional Bank, Los Alamos Historical Society, and the Los Alamos Cham- ber of Commerce. He is currently also on the Board of the New Mexico Special Olympics where he also coaches and is the local coordinator. In his spare time, he coaches basketball for Los Alamos Middle School. Art and his wife, Marilyn, have three children and one grandson. Kelley Tredwin, Executive Director ( ktredwin@nmdaf.org) For thirty years, Kelley has worked in non-profit development. She has worked on initiatives in the Southwest for maternal-child health, people with disabilities, chronic illness, and palliative care. Much of her work has focused on health and economic policy. Kelley has held previous positions with Taos Health Systems, Edward Jones, and Taos Community Foundation. She has served on more than a dozen Boards of Directors, including the Taos Sports Alliance and Taos County Chamber of Commerce. Kelley has a Certificate in Health Care Executive Management from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, she received her Certi- fied Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) in 2008, and her Masters of Art in English from Southern Illinois University. She is also a certified yoga instructor. Kelley and her husband Ric have a son, Ezra, who attends NM Tech in Socorro, and they all three love a good adventure weekend in the mountains.
