30 New Mexico Dental Journal, Winter 2019 Obituaries Norton Bicoll, DDS, MAGD, FACD died at the age of 81 at his home in Santa Fe, NM. He was a loving father, husband, uncle, brother- in-law, friend, dentist, car-guy, and devoted member of the Jewish community. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 48 years, Sheila Bicoll, his children Adam and Jessica Bicoll, his grandchildren, London and Jacob Bicoll, his nephew Eli Harris, nieces Aline Ellis, Monica Wing, Tiffani Bower, his sister-in-law Sue Burns, brother-in-law Steven Faine. He loved his immediate family, extended family, friends, and strangers with a passion. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Harris. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 16 at Congregation Beit Tikva at 1:00PM. Rabbi Martin Levy and Cantor Her- rera officiated the services. Norton was a distinguished dentist for more than fifty years, serving as a Captain in the US Army and President of several Dental Orga- nizations. He was an outstanding musician, and member of the Temple Emanuel Choir of Dallas for many years. He served as Can- tor for Congregation B'nai Israel in Amarillo. He published many academic articles over the course of his career. He was active in Boy Scout leadership. Among his many special attributes, he was known for his love of vintage cars and his pro- pensity to break out into songs to which he knew every word. For twenty years, he was a devoted member of Congregation Beit Tikva, and its choir. He will be remembered for his relentless love of everything and everyone.
