36 New Mexico Dental Journal, Winter 2018 Membership Dr. James Matthews Obituaries Robert (Bob) Sanchez December 29, 1929 – September 22, 2017 Robert (Bob) Sanchez, age 87, passed away Friday, September 22, 2017. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on December 29, 1929, to Manuel and Felicitas Sanchez. Bob graduated from Albuquerque High School. He attended The University of New Mexico and then Northwestern Dental School, making the field of dentistry his career for 40 years. Bob also served in the United States army for four years. Bob's hobbies included handball and he was a member of the German American Club. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elenor (Ellie) Sanchez and his parents. Bob is survived by sons, Greg and Gary Sanchez, both of Albuquerque, NM, daughter, Linda Sanchez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, son, Bob Sanchez of Texas, and daughter, Leslie Sanchez-Goettler of Oregon. He was a WWII vet in Okinawa and a Pediatric Dentist who practiced 50 plus years in Albuquerque. He Is survived by his wife Sandy Brady; children Roy, Betsy, Debbie and Jim; three grandsons and many friends.
