HCAOA The Voice Summer 2019

HCAOA Capitol Hill Lobby Day for 2019 July 24–25, 2019 HCAOA invites all members to join together for its Congressional Lobby Day for 2019 which will occur on July 24–25, 2019. This annual event is an opportunity for home care providers to engage with lawmakers and Trump Administration officials to discuss the issues of the day. This year there is no shortage of issues to educate Congress on. HCAOA will be advocating for tax credit legislation recently introduced to provide working family caregivers additional resources to care for the needs of family members. We will also be advocating for recently introduced legislation to ensure individuals with Health Savings Accounts can utilize their resources for personal care services of family members. Other issues involving immigration, the Fair Labor Standards Act, tax credits for home modifications, and Veteran home care services will be discussed.
