6 CALIFORNIA LODGING NEWS  www.calodging.com Ambitious Scholars Receive Recognition In November 2019, the CHLA Hospitality Foundation recognized ambitious scholars that will help shape the hospitality industry in the coming years and awarded approximately $165,000 in scholarships to the students and recent graduates. Not only was this an exciting opportunity to support the students in their pursuit of careers as hospitality professionals, it also provided an opportunity for industry leaders to meet with them, exchange ideas, and network.
