AT THe DOuBLeTree sAN JOse, ch&la and aahOa hosted a tremendously successful northern california hotel & lodging conference and Trade show on May 21, 2015. The conference began with educational sessions where attendees received information on topics ranging from SBA financing, energy savings, mobile web, attracting the Chinese traveler, employment pitfalls, website usability and reducing workers compensation claims. 24 California Hotel & Lodging Association summer 2015 AAHOA hosted their business meeting during lunch and CH&LA had a panel discussion, “Online Reviews: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” hosted by Tammie Carisle of Milestone Marketing. Panelists included Morgan remmers of Yelp and Todd skelton of TripAdvisor, who answered questions on how to handle online reviews, reputation management process, contracting and negative comments and bad reviews.
