American Traffic Safety Services Association 38 Training ATSSA welcomes new training director Rameeza Shaikh joined ATSSA as direc tor of train- ing this year. She comes to ATSSA with more than 10 years of experience with associations, chiefly in the Wash - ington, D.C., area. She has focused her career in serving at organizations with a higher purpose, putting her in sync with ATSSA’s goal of advancing road - way safety to save lives. Prior to joining ATSSA, Shaikh served in project management, continuing education and professional develop - ment roles while working at the National Association of Elementary School Prin- cipals, Children’s Hospital Association, International Society for Pharmaceu - tical Engineering, and Global Business Travel Association. She holds both an MBA and a master’s in English. “I amexcited to be part of an organization that works daily to save lives by advanc - ing roadway safety,” Shaikh said. “I look forward to utilizing my background in training and professional development to help ATSSA meet the needs of its members through training programs that address their changing needs.”
